CL63 030 Blk/Blk
I had renntech reprogam ecu at 8000 miles. Now have 15000 and have never had a problem. Very nice bump up.
Don't know if anyone saw my post of the the oil use with 63 and other amg engines. It's listed below under "burn notice". My oil use is around 1 qt/1000 miles since new.

You're right boss. The oil use is ridiculous!!! I had the Renntech headers, ECU, and the exhaust bored right when I purchased the car. Matt Mesler at Motorik Concierge did a phenomenal job. Not had any issues with it at all.
Let me tell you though, the 63 goes through oil likes its drinking water....crazy.

I am thinking of getting a SL63, please tell me more of any mods, how much extra power, cost, and does it make the car bog down?
Anything would be welcome.

The 63 motor is an oil burner, no doubt. The rings are too loose; they did it deliberately to get the rpms up.
I had a Corvette with the same problem and Chevy was replacing the oil rings for free
