What happens if you don't break the engine in properly??
So what exactly does happen? Is it bad for the longevity of the engine?? I heard a rumor that AMG runs their engines at redline for half an hour. Is it reallllly that bad to floor it under 1000 miles? Just curious what you guys think because im only at 300 miles and Im dying to put my foot through the engine.

Out Of Control!!
It's a never ending debate... While most people agree that newer model Mercedes don't need the engines broken in, they still do so out of caution. Take it easy on her, but not too easy! Wait until about 500 miles, and then start getting on it once and a while. If you can't help but hit the gas, give me a call and I'll take her until she reaches 1,000
