Looks like I am getting a 05' CL65, 38k miles. What mods have you guys done and who did them, also what 1/4 mile times are you seeing with your mods.

Also, what does a stock 05' CL65 typically run?

Thanks

A tune will net you an easy 100hp and 120 plus tq. Tires , a few cooling mods and you should be real happy.

Damn nice car. Been trying to pull the trigger on one myself.

Drag Radials + Stock CL65 = Easily low 12s to high 11s.

Kleemann or Renntech tune normally wakes these cars up to low low 11s territory. It's all about getting out the hole and keeping traction of course.

Busa196 got 11.54 at the strip stock with drag radials in his W220 S65. Mid 11s are possible with a good launch. SGC who has a CL65 with a Renntech tune and airbox got 11.18 and then 10.98 at the strip with drag radials. Fastest S65 was with the same mods and drag radials did 11.067.
