Renntech question
My dealer does the renntech upgrades and gave me a brochure when I bought my new CLS63 that states the ECU renntech reflash is good for 33 hp and 30 ft. lb of torque. Has anyone on here done this to their CLS63 and did you notice a difference in performance and what does this do to dependablity? Said it costs a couple of grand?

I have a '08 CL63 and had Renntech reprogram the ecu about 7000 miles ago. I now have 20000 miles on the car. My dealer took care of all details and my cost was $3200. Total turn was three days.
Performance increase was very noticable and I believe the numbers. M mode with abs off is very dramatic and pulls like the 65. S mode is now like M but automatic. C has nice power gain as well.
I usually limit the upper gear to 4 and anytime that you feel the urge just press the pedal.
