I bought my CL63 from a NY dealer and they sold me the car with the Yokohama tires that are supposed to be excellent in winter. I live in FL so I honestly don't know but I would check them out.

SL 63 W/B AMG , S600,C220
felt like the back had no grip, sidewall to soft on that, I also had them on my S600, didn't like the feel and the rears only lasted 4k and wore badly on the edge. I strongly recommend Bridgstone RE050, I have them on the 600, they
are quiet, smooth good ride and grip like hell, miles better than the PS2's.
I put the Pirelli's back on the 63 which it came with. Before this I was a Michelin fan, no more.
