It has been about 2500 mi since the 20000 mi service and the check oil light has not come on. Previously, the light would come on around 700 mi after fill up and I would add a quart at 8-900 mi.
Anyone have an idea about what changed? Is it possible that something was checked or replaced at the 20000 mi service?
Now the car is totally perfect!

All I have to say is I'm jealous. My 2009 is doing exactly what your 2008 used to do. About every 700 miles, I am filling it up with oil because my check engine oil at next refueling message comes up. I'm hoping I end up like you and it gets better on oil.
