Newb Needs Help PLEASE
Hey All
Just picked up an 03 CL55 w 40k on the clock. I am coming from a supercharged M3 convertable so its a nice switch. Just got car Monday and have some questions/issues before I goto dealer. I did get a 3yr warranty with it and am aware of abc issues and such in these cars.
1. My Dome Lights, Daytime lights and my Tails, Flicker, kinda pulse. When I bought the car it was daylight so I couldnt see it. The headlights Dont flicker. I am thinking it maybe a 12volt low volt thing beingthe headlights must have balasts. ANY IDEAS THERE?
2. I get the same vibration others do in park and at 80mph. In searching I see the motor/trans mounts or even driveshaft may be to blame. Goin2dealer.
Lastly I take the car to dinner for the First time lastnight with a lovely lady. The valet lets her out of the pass side, closes the door and drives off, only for us to hear a loud crunching sound. It appears the passenger speaker grill fell right out of the door and they ran it over. 28bucks replacement, but talk about embaressing.
These are small things, but I pray not signs of whats to come.

No idea on flickering lights but maybe it had some stereo work done and a ground wire is loose.. Hard to say..
Motor mounts and transmission mounts cause vibration.. Most of all a bent rim and not having road force balancing done..

Have a decent sound system in that thing? That may cause it, especially if you are bumping loud! If not, possible short? Or check battery/connections.... Sounds like some kind of connection issue or something zapping too much power, especially if all of them are fluctuating in sync. I know I have a couple of amps in the back and on ridiculous levels it will cause a slight fluctuation in my interior lights.... sorry, but best I can offer.
