Different voltage in mirrors pre 09/2002 and after 2003 models
Guys, I think we have a problem. I realised that changing LED exterior mirror insert on my car (01/2002 CL55) to LED insert of 2004 model will cause voltage problem (e.g. dashlight error will be on) and blinker in the front of the car will not lit up (inside headlight).
This is due to different part numbers. For instance, for my car there's no interchangable LED insert, you have to change the whole mirror cover. But in 2004+ models you can change it and there is a separate part number for the LED insert.
Has anyone tried to replace LED mirror insert on pre 2002 model CL?
