It's not an engine cover, it's an airbox and it's for the M275 motor... you can get a RENNtech airbox for your CL55... http://www.renntechmercedes.com/www/node/363
Maybe for $1000 max, sure

Man, i totally lost this thread. Been wanting to follow up on how your car was looking lately. I am still in love with your steering wheel mod. You inspired to start modding my car, i will do a update thread soon. Good to see you around.
Not to thread jack, but pointing a fellow member the right direction for some options. Check out this site: http://www.carbonio.com/performance/...des/index.html

I'm not going to argue the fact that the Canadian spec cars are going to be worth more. For me its not worth paying that premium. Its just like the USDM supra I imported. Canadian spec cars are worth more but with the mods mine came with, it was one hell of a deal.
I have a family member that owns a Mercedes shop and to pass the oop you don't need to change the cluster out. If you want it to be Mercedes Benz Certified then yes you will have to bend over and pay to change the cluster. Besides the speedo reads in both kph and mph.
Did Tunerworks do the Renntech upgrades for you?

Nah bro, deffently not going to touch that at all, special not a limited of 10, but I still think I should of left a little bit of cf on the front but I'm happy with the white ( painted) the back stays exactly original cf, I'm starting to like the white cf tho.

This picture from N Cali keeps popping up. It's photoshopped, not a real diffuser. You can see where the tow hook cover starts and then disappears where it was chopped.
I'm not sure if it's being represented as real or not, but it isn't.

That was an example so people can see what it would look like, the final product is not quite as tall tho.
