best aftermarket sounding/flowing mufflers for cl65?
going with a full 3 inch exhaust from the turbo back w/ 200 cell cats. want the best flowing and sounding muffler for the cl65. dont want it to sound much louder than stock- should i keep the stock mufflers? do they flow well or are they super restrictive?

My understanding is that they are very free flowing, not much you could get out of that. You want a bit more growl, might want to go catless of aftermarket cat. Also if you want more sound there are a few members that have just decided to delete the mufflers and just go with straight tips and pipe.

05 cl55 amg Renntech air box w/ K&N's LET 180 pulley & Tune, HE & Pump, 3'' Exhaust res/cat delete
espically being forced induction i would recommend going with the 3" all the way back to stock amg mufflers. It will give you a little more rumble and when you at idle it's still pretty quiet but as soon as you hit the throttle not just driving but when you get on it it really opens up and gets louder and is a real nice tone...I actually was in your shoes a few months ago and that's what I ended up doing and I love it. It's not to much but there when you want to hear it. It keeps it a luxury car that's not a mustang but a sportscar when you want it.
