No dissapointments
Well, I picked up the new CL55 last Saturday, and I must say I am real happy with the car. I am very familiar with MB cars, having owned them for the most part since 1982, but I never had an AMG model, much less one with 493 HP!
I will allow some break in time before I really try it out, but even a few 1/4 to 1/2 throttle starts can give an indication of the unreal and ultra smooth performance that this vehicle can deliver.
Many thanks to the members of the forum, I have been actively keeping up with the posts. They have really been helpful and informative. I ordered the car in Alibaster White with Charcoal and really love it. Also this car was produced early February, and it did come with the dual spoke wheels. I had seen a car with the early production wheels and it did look great but IMO the dual spokes, with those monstrous brake calipers are really the cat's a**!

btw, when you already pass your break in, please do tell us the REAL power of AMG V8 Kompressor .... Do the stock rear tires enough to prevent the car from sliding?

Wow, congatulations on the new AMG!
I still have not driven a V8-Kompressor car yet. I can't wait for our first used one that I can try out.
