The CL600 has a good deal more torque (590lbs-ft) than the other two (55: 516lbs-ft; 63: 465lbs-ft). The driver skill at launching on stock tires will determine which one is "quicker" off the line. It will take a more skilled driver to launch the CL600 more effectively. If all drivers are equally excellent, my money would be on the CL600.

the cl is 250 pounds heavier... coupled with an inadequate chassis to put the power down at lower speeds i would say that for short sprints the cls55 will be the quickest, followed by the cls63 and then the tt...

Stock CL600 or modified CL600 would win most of the time. The CL600 launches really well because it has such tremendous low end torque.

the cl is undertired and heavier. nothing spectacular about launching it from a dig. it could have 1000 pounds of tq and it would still have the same 0-60 time as you know pretty well the first gear and most of second are spent spinning and the ecu being busy retarding gas and breaking the spinning wheel on the open diff.... now racing from a roll-on is a different story... but that is not the case here...

i also think that pure magazine racing shows 0-100 (miles) to go to the cls55 - not by much but still faster...

According to Dragtimes, The CL600 has the quickest stock 1/8th mile time when comparing the CL600, CLS63, & CLS55. When the CL600 is modified, the gap grows even more. However, like most races, it will be more dependent on the driver than anything. All things being equal the CL600 should prevail. Wider tires on the 600 will make the gap grow larger and from a roll the 600 will easily beat the CLS55/63.

215 CL600 is a much better platform as far as performance goes. The twin-turbo is too easy to make much faster and relatively cheap to get 600+ hp. ABC is a pain in the backside compared to the CLS's airmatic and the CLS will beat the CL in terms of reliability and passenger room.
