This may be a simple question but I don't know the answer.
If your ac has gradually lost charge over a prolonged time and the compressor will no longer cycle due to the low pressure how do you recharge?
It seems the compressor needs to run to pull pressure down on the low side in order to allow coolant to enter the system.
