Inside front tires corded
Anyone else getting this?
The allignment seems OK, the car goes down the road straight and I had the allignment checked about 5000 miles ago.
Both front tires have lot's of thread in the middle, but they are corded on the inside?

recheck alignment. take it do a different place. your camber is too much.
if it looks good on the alignment rack, your abc is sagging at speed on the front for some reason which leads again to increased camber...

I know my CL55 has to have the rear aligned BEFORE the front. Perhaps this is the same with your car. Moreover, there are special parts and tools that only a MB/AMG shop has to align the rear on my 05 CL55. Perhaps this is the same with your car?
Have them show you the before and after alignment pictures to make sure the car is in the green in all dimensions.
The performance level of these car tends to make (I think caster front) more pronounced for better handling that leads to more wear but this is just a guess.
Another thought - do you have aftermarket wheels? Sometimes the offset on these wheels is not correct (44 mm on the CL55, I think 46mm on a 65
) and this will lead to all kinds of problems.

I have stock wheels, one already replaced (cracked) and the other 3 were not round, supposedly they fixed them now.
The car is at the dealer now, they are re alligning it, I will ask for the specs when they are done. Hopefully they know what they are doing..
