Hi, I know this might seem like an extremely n00b question...but this is actually my first time posting a picture through any forum...how do I post pictures without having to link it to a website like photobucket?

Click "Post Reply" then click the "Manage Attachments" button under "Additional Options." This will allow you to upload images directly from your computer. You'll have to resize them to 800x600 first using a program like Photoshop, GIMP (available for free from http://www.gimp.org/), etc.

It looks like the housings are blacked out rather than the lenses, but I'm not positive. That would not affect light output.

I think you're right, they are just blacked out housings but it would effect light output a bit and the angle wouldn't be as wide because the stock housing is reflective and 'pushes' the light out
