2002 SLK32 ///AMG
lower ball joints
I'm looking to buy a 2003 CL55 and the maintenance history shows the lower ball joints replaced at 45,000 and 75000 miles. Is this a normal occurance? The transmission mount has been replace twice also. Car has 85,000 on it now. No other major maintenance has been needed.

what area of the country was this car in? once at 75k miles is ok, but twice during that period? Should last at least 75-100k I think.

It was in DC (first replacement) then Ft. Lauderdale (second replacement).

Yea this is normal for 03. Sounds spot on actually. I only had my trans replaced once though, just replaced ball joints for a second time @ 70k GL
