A few questions

I bought my 03' CL55 a few months back and i have a few questions that i haven't been able to find the answers to my self and i could not find any answers to them through the search so i hope none of these are a double post

- I noticed that the command system (which has cd based nav) has an option for AUDIO AUX (under SVC i believe) but i can not seem to find an aux input anywhere in the glove box, where would it be located?

- How do i get the rear passenger AC vents to work? i have tried opening the center glove box vent, all of the settings on the climate control and yes the vent slider wheel is fully open but still no air flow out of the rear vents, are they controlled by a sensor in the rear seats or something?

- Where is the Crankshaft Sensor located? i know it is usually located behind/under the left cylinder bank between the engine and driver's compartment, is the same true here?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance

*UPDATE*

I found the AUX input, i went back into my car tonight and figured i would double check and i do not know how i missed it the first time . . . i actually took t to an audio shop and they missed it too but it is on the right front of the passenger glove box if anyone else is wondering . . .

I now have Pandora, RDIO and Sirius radio in my car through my phone and the sound seems to be on par with the CD audio

I still need help with the other 2 questions though, thanks

I think the glove box vent needs to be closed in order to the air flow to be re-directed to the rear.

Just a shot in the dark, I can't figure out who else besides midgets and babies can fit back there. As I don't know either type, I've never had a reason to look at rear A/C ducting.

The CPS is located on the left side of the engine. Take the air box off and you will see it on the bell housing.

it's so funny how some people get so uptight defending the "roominess" of the CL back seat when the rest of us with eyes can clearly see there is no "roominess" to defend.

I think a baby might not safely fit in the back of a CL because an infant's car seat should be rear-facing. Perhaps a toddler?

I saw a CL63 today (followed by a C36 then an E55 - a good lunch outing!). Sure is a nice car, bummer about the back seat.

I have had a few people in the back seat since i bought the car, mostly girls between 5'5 and 5'8 and they had no complaints about the rear seat space but my buddy who is about 5'11 sat back there with my friend in the front seat who is about 6'3 on a 2 hour trip and after about an hour my friend in the back was getting cramped up with the lack of leg room back there

I think there is ample room back there for anyone under 5'9 if the person in the front seat isnt too tall so the front seats can be moved up a bit . . .

But i am 6'2 so no one over like 5'5 will be sitting behind me while driving, haha

I came across a pictorial for the S class and i figured it would be the same general placement for the 215 chassis, thanks for confirming, would you know by chance how long of a job it is to replace the CPS? i know it can be a bit of a pain to get to but how long do you think it should take if i DIY?
