CL65 seat massage stopped working, suggestions?

The massage function stopped working. When I press the button on either side the red indicator lights but no activity. At other times the light does not come on. Since this is on both sides I'm wondering if there is a central control circuit.
Any ideas as to what the problem may be?

Believe it or not, it may be a discharged secondary battery (controls the electronics). When the secondary battery starts going bad, the optional functions it controls starts shutting down. Have someone check this out.

Thanks for the suggestion. Is there any way to do this myself?

I'm not sure about the CL, but on the E55, this is very easy to do yourself...

I experience something similar but in my seat massage the red indicator blinks for several seconds and than stops.

Any DIY ways to fix it, or is this a dealership thing?

I wonder if it is any grounding issue or failing alternator. This is just a desperate guess as I can NOT pin point the issue in my car.
