My 03 cl55 has rust under the paint where roof meets the quarter panel on passenger side. Also i noticed it around my sunroof as well as on my hood tips around the lights area????? WTF Did anybody expirienced this besides me? And who knows about MB warranty on paint? 03 at 71k Its been on the car for last two years but last few month got a lot worst. Took it to the dealer today but no answer as far as them taking care of it. Was told that its up to shops Mangr.

UR AREA HAVE ALOT OF SALT?

I have a little spot where the roof meets the quarter on the drivers side. It was like that when I bought it 2 years ago. Hasn't changed since I owned it. No other spots on the car.

This a fault with the CL's. It's because the roof is aluminium and the quarter panel is steel which causes a reaction if water gets under the seal. Over in the UK it depends what service history you have, if you have a full MB history then they usually do it under warranty. It's not that common but i do know it is something to look for when buying a CL. The sunroof is also known to corrode, this has happened to my 2003 55.
