W215 Glass
Is there any way possible to tint the side windows of the car exactly the same way the the rear of the W215 is? That dark, sapphire glassy blue that you can only appreciate in person. Is that just the way the glass is on the rear of the car or is there a special type of tint/company that can emulate that blue around the car?

Call a tint shop near you. They can probably try to match it, at least somewhat. The difference is actually what's sandwiched in the glass, but a film might come close, if they can find the right one.

Does it have a name or specific shade you know it's called? I've seen tint labeled as 'Mercedes blue' in places but it's a lighter sky blue.
BTW (throwing legality issues aside for a moment) can I do multiply layers of tint on my glass. Like tint it blue then tint it light black over top?

My tint guy knew the glass. The blue is normally PPG glass with a blue tint (mostly older C and E class). The more purple should be Plinkington glass (S and CL). They have names but can't remember beyond that.
Some tints will adhere to plastic so should layer. Others, probably not. You really need to find a pro who can help. If any of you are in South East, I will try to find a reference for a good guy.
