MISSING AMG SIGNATURE BLOCK

what would you think about a purportedly AMG engine that was missing its signature block?

would you think it had been removed for a souvenir?

or would you think that the engine was no longer an AMG engine?

do AMG engines have serial #'s. if so, where are they located? just so that i can validate that this is an AMG engine in the 215 chassis in which it currently resides. in which it was originally installed.

all ears.

Do the research! I just got my car back after three months in the shop. Somehow the short block was replaced with some other Mercedes engine. I don't understand how it happened but I'm a witness that it happened to me!
