Trade value for 2009 CL63
I was at the dealer looking into trading my 2009 CL63 for maybe an E63 or CLS63. My car is in very good shape but did have an accident where the front fender and hood were replaced by an excellent shop. The car is iridium silver and black and has 25,000 miles on it. It has every option except distronic and has the performance package with the forged 20" wheels. The dealer told me that the accident is really hurting the resale and that most of these cars have much less mileage. The rims have some curb damage but I have a brand new set of forged rims and tires to put on the car before trade in. He gave me a trade value of 67k for the car, as is, which does not take into account putting the new rims on. Is this price out of line or close to what the cars trade value should be.
BTW KBB and Edmunds list the trade in at $77,000. Car is very clean, a few scratches on bumper covers and a few dings which can be fixed by paintless dent removal.

If you have dents, scratches, and curbed wheels, it sounds like the dealer would put several grand into fixing those items before selling the car. That alone would come close to making up for the $10k price difference. The bad Carfax is also really not going to help.
KBB is basically useless, but Edmunds normally gives a pretty good indication for a clean car.
