AMG & Am General (CL65 & H1)

CL Mirror Upgrade

Can anyone suggest a nice replacement set of mirrors or covers for a 05-06 CL65. I see one on ebay that looks like a cover upgrade...

I just want something a bit more sporty looking. I would imagine that the s class also shares these mirrors?

Anyone have any links and pics of any installed?

whatever you do don't be tempted to wrap them in fake CF. A Guy at work has them done on his CL55 (as well as front lip, side skirts and filler cap cover) and it looks

Ezah.... thanks for the tip, but I dont do the fake wrap

I just wish there was a good aftermarket or oem swap available..

My tow vehicle (Ford Excursion) was very easy to switch the 2000 mirrors with a set of brand new oem 2010 tow mirrors....

Just looking for a greta sporty mirror to match the AMG v12 TT..... Hope I dont have to make my own...

yeah, I was just stating the obvious really.. I see that car every day and cringe!

i cant recall seeing anything other than stock mirrors on these cars though. Do you have a link to the ones you are considering?

NRL, and team,

yes those are the ones I was looking at... I think they do fit. I visited 55tech's website and they do list them for our cars...

I cant find the landing page, but they did offer a w215 mirrro cover. Does anyone think they would not fit?

i have sent them an email for clarification. Perhaps a group buy? Also I dont know if a forum sponsor sells these, I would liek to give them first chance to quotea group buy...

on a side note. I like the w215 black honeycomb single fin grill they also sell. Anyone have any + or - regarding quality or fitment?

Update....

CL55 emailed me this morning.. .here is the response... I will keep you posted....Perhaps we have a few options...

I dont think these covers will fit on W215.
we do not have w215 mirror covers but I do see them on the catalogue.
I will check with the factory see if they have it now. i will also get you pricing, colors and group buy info for all your friends. No need for a group buy. I will just give them discount, that way if 1 or 25 purchase you still get the deal.
