w215 help removing third brake light
Hey , im looking to replace my third brake light from the trunk lid and i have to remove it without damaging it,
is there a correct process for this procedure?
if so please post step by step as clear as possible!!

Remove trunk lid lining to gain access. The 3rd brake light is held into place by plastic tabs. The associated lens is attached to the brake light itself by two small screws.

I don't think you can replace it without damaging it. You cannot remove the screws without removing the lense first and the lense is held by tabs. You might get lucky with prying the tabs but they break easily.
