why dont you track down the manufacturer and see if they have any repair kits?

i know mb does not, but the manufacturer might.

it would be good to know as many of us are capable of tearing apart said expensive pump and replace worn/broken parts if they are available separately.

my other pet peeve are the valve bodies. they might or might not be serviceable (of course according to mb they are not).

that would be a good knowledge to have here

i've read that they are rebuildable. would like more specifics.

From Luk, the manufacturer. I just want a few parts off an old broken one to rebuild mine. These are not fun to play with. I wouldn't recommend anyone try it who hasn't done anything similar before. But if you're ballsy enough to do it I say go for it. Seal kits are googleable but parts kits I can't find.
