driveability

I did search around but couldn't find the answer. What are the body panels made of ? I thought it was some blend of plastic. fenders door skins 1/4 panels etc. I parked my 65 at a home depot about 300 yards from the front door but some how a shopping cart made its way to my passenger door. It made a small ding/dent. I parked my Porsche there hundreds of times without ever getting nailed

fenders and trunk are plastic (or fiberglass I believe???)

hood, doors, quarters, roof aluminum. a-pillars steel.
