start... die. start... die. start... go.
There's no check engine light, no issue driving, and no other issues - just a few false starts. Is this normal?
Cold weather ? Sometimes little things show up then. I'm a tune up and drive-ability specialist and often this is due to carbon build up on the throttle-body. Can't speak to much on a 65. If I suspected this on my car I would crack the throttle as little as I could when starting after it stalled once. I mean just a little bit. It seems to me the idle speed control system opens up quite a bit on cold start up and it may need cleaning etc. Just a few thoughts.

many things can cause a fail start.
there is prolly a code stored in the engine control unit that needs to be read.
have somebody with sds read the code and if not self-explanatory post it here
