Does this thing really save gas? It just wierds me out that the car is turning on and off on and off. Even had one time where it didn't start back up but that was prob a fluke. I haven't tested the difference in mpg but whats everyones opinion on this?

Supposedly it does on paper. In real life, who knows. Won't it wear out the starter that much faster though??

starter? not really.

motor? if you are sitting for more than 30 secs and oil goes back in the oil pan- a start will definitely put some wear on the motor. but i am hoping they have accounted for that and there are mitigating solutions implemented.

I agree, it definitely takes some getting use to.
