Can a 03 Cl55 be lowered via Star

The '03 can be lowered by STAR. You'll need a shop that knows what they're doing, as it's not as easy as it should be and will probably require them to have some equipment to measure the correct suspension angles.

I wasn't able to and I've tried it twice. The 1st time a reputable forum member did it personally and still wasn't able to get the values stored. It just reset itself after turning it off and starting it up again...

Yup. Sometimes it lasts for weeks before it resets itself, sometimes doesn't work at all. Just get the lowering module.

My dealer quoted me $400 to do it. Granted, that isn't an indicator that it can be done, just that they thought it's possible on an '03. Also, I'm assuming it's not an AMG vs. Non-AMG issue. I guess in theory the AMG suspension software differences could make a difference, but I would doubt it.
