Does it make sense, and is it practical, to put a CL65 radiator and other required parts, in a CL55? It's the same body, basically.
(I had a Ford station wagon with a special order V8 ( dont ask) that always overheated in the summer. Found out it had a 6cylinder radiator! Got the v8 cooler at a junk yard and my buddy who had a garage swapped it out with just some hose changes and so on. There was no problem with block clearance.)
It seems to me, and I am not a technician, that this would solve many an engine cooling and supercharger cooling problems if the fitment issues were not insurmountable. Hoses and brackets are easy to fabricate. Has anyone tried this retrofit or something like it?
