CLS55 Front Breaks & Pads...
Ok, I asked for a quote to replace my rotors and pads, all of them. I would expect that to be ALL 4. (I'm deployed to Afghanistan so hard to have wife do the running). I was quoted around 1k for the job. Not the MB dealership, but an authorized tech. with MB parts OEM. I got bill back and shows just front rotors and breaks replaced. WTF?? So, was I expecting too much? I priced rotors and Pads myself and could have done all for way less than 1k, but of course, I'm gone so can't. So, total price was $1085.00. The fronts I know were worn with just over 50k mi. but again..I expected the backs to get replaced as well. Again, I'm not home to see what I got and wife knows nothing about what to look at. This has no 030 upgrade by thet way, just a plain 06 CLS55 AMG. Thoughts?

i had front brakes and rotors replaced on a 2004 cl600. i bought the brakes, rotors and fluids myself, cost about $400. lucky to get dealer to match installation price of indep. of $80. if they did it all the quote was about $1000. you paid dealer price imo.
