~ HELP!! CL55 radio is going crazy! People say this happens when it rains?

So, I have a 2003 CL55.

Went into my car one day and the speakers were going crazy. They would click..... and then click again.....click... click.... (sounds like your speakers are popping). Went on non-stop with my radio turned off. Thought it ended, but it didn't and it ended up draining my battery. Got new battery in now and radio doesn't work. Powered on radio.... no sound... tried switching to the CD player, and no sound. Someone said that their car acts up like this in the rain or after a car wash. It rained where I am 2 days ago, so could that be a coincidence? Someone said it might be my amp or my fuses. Car drives fine right now, but I don't have any music. Still no radio. Anyone had this problem before? HELP!!!! Sucks driving with no music.......

I have problems with my radio too but it's really like your problem. My volume would turn off then slowly turn back on. Haven't figured out what's wrong with it yet. Do you have the same problem?

Check behind the left trunk liner, you may be getting water into all of your audio components. Best to be repaired asap. There are also issues with door wiring harness braking due to the cool hinges but I would check the trunk. You may get lucky by doing a hard reset by unplugging the electrical connectors on the audio components and get it working again. Just don't kink the orange cables, there fiber optic

lol that's not a problem. It's supposed to be like that. Louder when you increase speed and then quiets down when you decrease speed. It's supposed to be some kind of cool feature but in reality, it sucks and its annoying...happens to me all the time. I find myself adjusting the volume constantly.

just looked it up. "AM/FM Radio With Speed Sensitive Volume"

I don't think 2003 models came with the fiber optic cables, but I could be wrong

They were d2b not MOST, both fiber optic but work differently. 2000-2003 were d2b, 04 up audio systems for most cars are the MOST system

I know about the driving sensitivity volume but mine goes completely silent then it turns back on slowly. Pretty annoying.
