road force balancing
I began to feel a vibration, had my tires balanced and it felt better but not as a CL65 should feel at 100 mph. I then had my 4 tires road force balanced. Wow ! I would recommend this for everyone.

You need to call the shop and check if they have the equipment. Hunter GSP9700 tire balancer is the one used on my tires. The basic idea is all tires and rims are not round. The machine finds the bad spots on the wheel and tire and directs the tech to line the tire & wheel in the best spot available. That means you move the tire around the rim as directed by the machine. There you have the best your tire and rim can achieve. Then the tire/rim is balanced. The term road force is used to gage how well the tire/rim combo preforms dynamically on the car on the road. Some wheel / tire combos will preform better then others. It all depends on how round the rim / tire is. Just because its an AMG rim doesn't mean its perfect. I would think the best thing to do is have all 4 rims straightened by a racing shop etc. Then buy the tire which has the best road force numbers. I think all tire manufactures design / test there tires and know what the numbers are, maybe that is a reason MB come with certain tire brands. Any way I'm sure I have things above *** back-wards but hope you get the idea. Remember an egg shaped tire can be balanced but it wouldn't feel to good on the road, so that's where road force comes in.
