05 CL55 took a ****

So once again, my ABC system failed. While stock on the BQE last weekend i heard a weird pop and heard fluid leaking, so i pulled over to find out that one of the hose's under the pump took a ****...
Thats 4k i have into the ABC system alone for the past 4 years of owning the car...BUT, this time it only cost me $600....

this may sound weird, but i still love the car, its an animal....

In the past year I have replaced the pump and almost all of the hoses on my ABC. I still one left to do. Maybe next year. But I still love my car.

I've said it in some other posts but I firmly believe that any of the rubber hydraulic hoses should be replaced every 4 years or 50,000 miles with higher quality aftermarket hoses that can withstand more PSI. Once a hose breaks, the system starts to implode. No broken hoses mean no added debris in the system from the pump running without fluid.

If it weren't for the ABC, the CL would not be that bad or that expensive to maintain. The ABC is a real deal killer and an account drainer for the CL/SL/S.
