The gears won't hold in manual mode.
Hello everyone.
I have tried searching on this subject with no luck.
Anyway, when the transmission is in manual mode it will hold the gear for few seconds and change back quickly to DS mode. Even in DS when I use the steering wheel control or the gear selector to downshift it still go back to DS in few seconds. It also will not let me put it in M mode, it will just be DC or DS.
I noticed that it will work properly sometimes but very rarely.
I had my mechanic check the codes but everything is clear. No problems show up.
Does anyone know what could the problem be?

Artur,
Check oil level (I'm sure you've done that already).
Check to see if the harness from the transmission to the TCU is oil soaked.
Remote possibility, but also check the C/S M button by the shifter. It could be gummed up and acting up.
