Inexpensive Source for Front Bumper Grill for '04 CL55?
I'm helping my wife fix a problem that I caused. I was driving to golf early one day, and there was a rubber orange safety cone that was in the middle of my lane. I didn't see it because it was dark and it was like 530am. I managed to straddle it at the last minute so that it went under the car instead of being caught in a wheel.
Unfortunately, it took out the center mesh grill on the front bumper. No other damage, amazingly enough.
I'm not so up to date on good MBZ wrecking yards or parts (I know the Porsche online sources like the back of my hand
).
I have a couple of questions:
Any help would be appreciated. Cheers!

). I have a couple of questions:
- Is this mesh just a snap fit into the bumper? It certainly was a snap "unfit."
- Any good sources for just this grill or should I look for the whole bumper assembly?
- I checked car-parts.com, which seems to have a whole assembly for an '05 CL55. Will this work on an '04? Just the grill, that is?

1. I believe they have clips that hold them in place.
2. I know eBay has one:

3. As long as its an AMG piece or has the AMG sport package, all 03-06 years will work for your center mesh. 00-02 will not work AMG or not as the opening is smaller. Be aware though, OEM AMG mesh is quite expensive for some odd reason
