After Market Radiator?

My radiator has a small crack and loses half of the coolant every 4-5 days so i am going to be replacing it if i can't JB Weld it

Is there anything i should be aware of if i buy a 3rd party radiator?

I found a few that are half the price of an OEM one but i don't know if there is any downside to buying one that's not OEM

Any advice would be appreciated

Thanks in advance

Nissens and Bosch are pretty good. Around $300 for a good quality one.

Sounds good, thanks!

Do you happen to have a link to a DIY on replacing the radiator? I remember seeing one a while back but can't find it now...

Looks pretty straight forward but i want to make sure it is as it seams!

Thanks again

Don't mean to hijack your thread but, since your radiator is going to be replaced anyway, is it possible/practical to put a CL65 radiator in a CL55? Has anyone done the conversion?

Benefits: The cooling volume is much greater, for one.

unless you car overheats (and if does you have another problem)- there is no benefit as the thermostat keeps the motor at the same operating temperature in all driving conditions.
