Question about XM Radio
What experience do those in this forum have with XM Radio? The last thing I want is a device installed on the control panels of my CL, but is there a small wireless control panel or one that can be installed in the center console under the armrest that might work? Also, can XM be installed without interferring with the various signals generated by the car's other systems?

The reciever is under the right front floor mat on the angle area.
The antenna tokk us awile to figure out, But what we did was put
it dead center in the rear glass about one inch down. That's the
only place in the vehicle that was not interfering with the
reception. It's not perfect but it depends were your driving
because it need's a straight shot to the south. and yes you can
call me as well.

The Alpine and Pioneer XM units do fine fitting in the ashtray but the Delphi SkyFI won't fit at ALL! You can still get the Alpine unit at Crutchfield, but I believe it's been discontinued as has the Pioneer GEX-FM903XM which is their FM modulated unit. IMO I prefer the Alpine as it can also control a CD changer and provides an aux input should you want one. As far as installation, I used an Antenna Specialists roof-mount stick on antenna that is very low profile and looks fine. It would stand out a lot more on a lighter car but on black or dark colors it's almost invisible. Glass mount XM antennas don't work as well as the mag mount or stick on types, but installing the latter are more troublesome. Find a reputable installer where you live and let them do it... having XM is DEFINITELY worth it.
