Wow, incredible! You have an eye and a talent for great works of art that can be driven.
I love this look and the only reason I found it was after looking at DTM racing pics from the past. I had an idea for a project car, a DTM look alike for a 1995 MB 300ce wide body with the classic lines.

Okay, so an update for those interested. I've been kind of busy, went to California (Beverly Hills) and spent A LOT of money - some people's yearly salary in 5 days :/ Bijan on Rodeo Drive will get you, even though I didn't have an appointment lol
Then stayed in New York (Manhattan) for a few weeks. Had a ton of work to get to when I got back.
Then the CL had a little problem. I was in Philadelphia with it (Center City) - what a disgrace the roads are that we have here. Potholes, cracks, trash and even the occasional dead carcass.
So I was with this exotic, gorgeous girl I've been talking to (of course that's how every problem starts haha) and got distracted by her ahem, and hit the front wheel in a pothole. I have the only set of Vossen CV3's done in carbon fiber. Long story short, hit it, felt it pulling to the right. Went to look at it, tire deflated too. Drove it slowly to the nearest gas station to put air, wouldn't hold. Took my spare out prior to save weight, so I was ****ed and had to get it towed nearly an hour where my house is. My front rim was bent and had to get it fixed and get a new tire.
All is good now.
So the widebody;
I took it to my body guy. He brought in a guy that took pictures of my car (from EVERY angle) and kind of edited it like Charleston, but that's all he does, he renders images professionally. He asked for my input, how I would want it, how I want it to arch out, sharper arch - more bubbled arch etc... Couple days later, called me back and showed me what he came up with:
Guys, this is going to look so sick if the real thing is going to be anything like the computer image!
So the widebody is going to be made out of steel. Each side is going to be extended by over 2 inches. It's going to start at the end (back) of the sideskirts, go all over the rear quarter panel and blend into the rear bumper. So overall, the rear of my CL is going to be around 5 inches wider in the back, perfectly done! It seriously looked like a DTM CL that Mercedes-Benz could've made with their designers
Also, the side molding trim will also be removed and filled just like that photoshop ^^^
Going in next Monday, and it should take a little over a month, but that's good as it's winter now too. I'm so excited, I can't even dream that it can look better than what's been presented to me.
I'm sure the CL owners will adore it - well maybe not the guys who believe that you shouldn't modify the car whatsoever lol

You will get used to this guy. He drives a $20k CL but for some reason thinks it's a SLR/Maybach.
Yet no one has ever seen a picture of it....ever.

And you are following someone going nowhere for years, BEGGING them to post a picture ![nix](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/nixweiss.gif)
Checking your post history about me is quite creepy, you obviously care.
Oh, and believe me, I'm doing fantastic. Sorry you weren't able to kick me down

Good luck. I'll applaud you if you do something unique and different that no one has. I'm not the hateful type.

I'm not one to share personal information with people, especially online. The only reason why I posted that was to explain the delay as questioned by this newb with no credentials that I should've ignored
I explained what I've been doing and why I haven't updated. I didn't mock anyone, hurt anyone or even mention anyone pertaining to this board. Excuse me as I'm a very young guy doing well for myself and was having a lot of fun in this economy; thus the reason for that post and lack of mods. It's a damned if you do, damned if you don't kind of thing. I wasn't jerking off or popping a viagra like many of you do.
The mentally on this board at times is very prepubescent. Very un-MB like, more like a early 90s Honda forum and who can be the bigger insulter. Old guy talking about taking a dump? And for the guy who claims he's God saying I drive a $20K CL, what a hypocrite. You're putting everyone down that has a 55K or an 07 or older Mercedes. I don't post as much and for good reason. I can say a lot of you guys try to belittle people and it gives you a weird gratification, definitely not my crowd of human beings.
Anyway, to those that were actually and honestly interested in seeing a true to form Black Series envisioned W215 CL AMG - with just that touch of brilliance, I'm very sorry. I wanted to present a work of art. I don't care what kind of Mercedes you have, I've seen what all you guys have, no one has one like mine. I hope someone else comes along and does it right. I have no need or desire to show my work to unappreciative human-hyena hybrids. Take care.

We do not need to know how well you are doing, what shops you shop at, how much money you make or spend. Get it? THAT is prepubescent.
Just talk about cars and save the rest for your boyfriend
