slow paddle shifter

i just got a cl 63 AMG, awsome car, but when on manuel the paddle shifters very slugish and slow to react almost impossible to drive on manuel, is that a common problem with these cars to note i dont know what to expect from an automatic car with paddle shifter my previouse car was a BMW M5

My CL65 is slow as well. If you wish to shift at 5k you need to plan ahead. Its an old school electric auto transmission, (so to speak) not a formula 1. Just like the guy who won the Moscow unlimited, he drove a 911 turbo with an automatic. He said he needed to shift some 700 rpm below red-line because the system had a big lag.

That's what I did they past / copied for another forum again I dont really know how that can help
1. Turn the ignition key to the on (not start) position.
2. Press the gas pedal to the floor and hold for five seconds.
3. Turn the key to the "off" position (don't remove the key), then release the gas pedal.
4. Wait at least two minutes for ECU to reset.
