Engine shuts off at low rpm ?
Hi guys,
I have 04 CL55 and have recently faced an issue with starting up the car after 20mnt drive. All it did was cranking noise but eventually started up on the 3rd attempt.
I haven't experienced this issue since then but what it does now occasionally is that the engine unexpectedly shuts off when e.g I'm waiting at the lights. I need to put the gear in Park and start the car up.
Has anyone experienced similar issue ?
Trying to figure out what this can be before I bring it to stealership.

Check battery voltage- is your battery over 5 years old? You might need a new one.
When was the last time you replaced your fuel filter?

You were right. Dealer called me today that it's a crankshaft position sensor.
