CL65 warranties?

CL65 warranties?
Been thinking about making the plunge and getting a cl65 amg, though with everything crazy expensive on these cars, how bad are the warranties and are there any out there that include maintenance and what not (i hear brake pads are also crazy expensive)? Also is 2005 66k miles for 31k a good deal or should i keep looking?

Brake pads are cheap its the rotors that are expensive. Its like buying a ford focus everytime you do the rotors LOL (JK). I think they're $900/piece for the rotors themselves.
Warranties are non existant on these cars now. If you find one, it will cost you a third of what you paid for your car. If that's the case I would take my chances and just pay out of pocket for the repairs.
As far as the car you looking at being a good deal, it all depends what and how it was treated. What was fixed or still needs to be fixed etc. I would take it to a indie mechanic or dealer and have a full inspection done on the car.

Hear the engines are pretty bullet proof, but suspension, coil packs and door vacuums are prone to failure and cost crazy amounts to repair. Though guessing warranty companies not up for the costly repairs on these.

E55, GLS450, GL63, GLE350
ABC and coil pack problems can eat through the cost of the policy very quickly. Most of the reputable warranty companies learned this the hard way with the CL/SL/S 600 & 65.

You have to pay to play with these cars. Later C215's are solid but its the ABC and coil packs that are real issue. No issues on ours yet knock on wood. Get a PPI at a dealer or indi shop. Invest your time into learning the car and do your homework. Check and make sure its 100% clean and do not try and cut corners by purchasing a cheap one. That price sounds nice to me but get a PPI and it could save you big $$$$
