Cl600 to read 220mph like cl65

Ok, I'm in the market for one of these vehicles. I figured the cl65 was a bit overpriced but I've heard that with a simple tune on a cl600 it's much faster than a cl65. The thing to kills me is that it reads 160mph on the odometer. Considering its computerized how much of an issue is it to read 220mph like its slightly faster counterpart? Should I just buy a cl65 for all this. I currently own a 2010 m6 and am currently in the market for one of these vehicles and going down from 200mph on the dash to 160 gives me that "meh" feeling

Do you plan to go above 160? You're basing thousands of dollars difference between cars on the speedo? I'm sure you could find a dash cluster to swap.

160 comes very fast on my CL600 with a speedriven tune, but there is also a digital readout that tells MPH.

Digital read out?^ like other than the dash? On my m6 it reads on the windshield. I wouldn't mind a cl600 if that were the case for this car also.

Its not a Heads up display like the BMW's but on the side of the speedometer you can have it read out the actual MPH.

I was in the same boat as you when I purchased my CL600. I didn't see the need to get the CL65 because I knew I would chip either one and the CL600 with a tune is plenty fast for the streets. I'm guessing my car runs in the mid 11's with just the ECU/TCU tune from Speedriven. Another thing that pushed me away from the CL65 was the cost of brake maintenance vs the CL600's. Overall I wouldn't have done it differently if I could go back.

Dude, that was a very dumb statement.

My speedo only says about 190 but I will still race your m6 for pink slips.

You up for it?
