I don't think it looks tacky at all.
It matches quite well with the front lip, diffuser, and trunk spoiler.
I think it's one of the best cosmetic mods I bought besides the diffuser.
Quality is superb, fitment is 100%, and it makes a huge difference.
+1 to kenpho - he is a great guy to deal with.

I'd also like to point out that these would regularly sell for $1500+. $1000+shipping is a STEAL.

Zneb- even if you don't like how the way he talks on the forum , including me. His w215 will be one of the best looking one out there with 1 off mods once done.

Kidya- your w215 looks good with those knock off 20's amg, tinted lights and supercharge badge/sticker you got on the trunk. It goes well with the .99 cent rear spoiler also.

 

Looks good on this car because there arnt a bunch of wingletts and crap stuck on. If you want to got for the "aggressive w215" look, this is how to do it. Not my personal preference, but executed correctly, unlike zneB's hack job.

 

You don't have to be bitter that I don't like some side skirts you're trying to sell. I wonder why you even would get rid of so cheap in the first place, if you think they are so awesome.
I don't like big trunk spoilers like the one Danlnyc has. The M5 is a nice small lip that does not stand out much. All the stuff you post is factually wrong, so I wouldn't expect you to understand

 

This is more of a clean aggressive look. I try to remove redundant lines and shapes, not add more on to the car.

What makes your car so remarkable? Why don't you install those side skirts on it and call it a day? I never criticized you, or your car but look how you hate on me and my car all over the fact I said some pieces of carbon look tacky. You're just an overall poor sport. Though I don't have that eBay AMG Affalterbach badge on my steering wheel like you, I do have a 1 of 1 DTM flat bottom with red leather, red stitching, extra thick grips, carbon fiber top with red ring and carbon fiber paddle shifters....almost as cool as the foam you put at the top of your steering wheel...



Whole sound system is JL (Amps, processor, speakers, tweeters, sub) that I'm such a sucker for detail I removed the plain stock Bose badges


Even though they're only Euro spec (MB dealers won't even allow them in the country - and a cool face is I got the last pair in the system) are these little flare pieces for the rear quarter panel/bumper - got them done in carbon fiber too

I know you have the 03 CL so they switched the tails from 2 white stripes to 4. But I bet your rear tails when on are the dull regular red bulbs that look like this when on:

If you ever noticed, US spec and Euro spec W215 CLs have a different sized license plate trunk middle section. The Euro spec is longer because their plates are longer. I got that switched out to euro spec and even at night you know that I'm driving a Mercedes


And then at the flick of a switch my front MB Star emblem (since everything is LED) looks like this coming at you at night if desired

People get outta the way....and the Distronic still works magnificently as well which was a concern

Also, since I'm sure you know the W215s glass, front and rear has that liquid silver in it which it gives it that sapphire look. So I'm in the process of getting that glass made for the side windows. Always loved that instead if plain black.


So you wanted pics.... here's a small taste Nidy. And believe me, you ain't seen nothing yet. But as you see, everything is done to the highest/OEM/custom degree. All those LEDs are for show and are operated separately as well.
And one of the coolest things I have.... a red light transmitter like ambulances, police cars have to trigger s green light Illegal? Yes. Awesome? Without a doubt.

So I'm sure it isn't your taste. Call it ricer, call it tacky, but one thing you can't call it id cheap - by any means. And I don't wanna be braggadocious (that's why I never made "Build Thread") But I will tell you, it looks unlike any other W215 CL (or Mercedes) out there and if we were lined up next to each other, I truly believe more people would stare and compliment my car over yours. But we both got CL55s here so for that alone I commend you for going niche. Just remember I just turned 23, and this is already my second one as I totaled my first one...

Again, anybody can put crap on a car, but it's the continuity of all the mods combined to create a look that matters. You have yet to post any photos except that side shot with the hedious fins all over the hood. You're nothing special, and neither is your car. Simply a mismatched collection of parts scrambled together by a kid who has an inflated ego, and no skills. You want to talk engine mods, go ahead. I know you can't even change your own spark plugs. Your post history proves your lack of understanding. Plus, you lie so much that nothing short of proof will convince anyone you have what you claim to have. Again all you proved is you can gather up photos of Mercedes from Google searches and post a bunch of different cars stating my tail lights look like this, and my blah blah blah looks like that. Finally, the reason most people chose a clean look, is because it looks GOOD. It's not because they CAN'T, it's because people know better. Those are my extra set of skirt that was bought way before you even own your w215. Go back and read on the group buy for the skirt and you will know why I had a extra set. I do have a set on mine and many other euroteck carbon fiber product they made for our group buy.
