Mercedes figured out that it will make more money selling low end cars that look like $100k cars, but to what end? I knew it was too good to be true before the looks of CLS gets copied into a lower model.
Why does every "luxury" auto maker insist on creating 100 models? Less should be more.

Yes it looks good because it copied CLS in design! Think of the folks that will shell out 60k for a regular CLS and 100k for a CLS63 AMG, do you think they would want to buy a car that looks like its 35k cousin? I don't know, I think MB like many others, is eroding their brand.
