2002 Mercedes-Benz CL55 AMG
My 'new' CL55 :)
Alright I have to make one of these posts. Checking out all the MB forums, this one seems to be the best to me and I think I'll land here.
I've dreamed of a CL AMG for years, it's been on my list of things to do or get in my life, ever since I saw a CL65 walking down the sidewalk one day. I literally stopped with my mouth open when I saw that car. And I can count the cars that look good to me on one hand. It's been said, and it's true, pictures don't convey what this car looks like or makes you feel when you see one in person. Over the years I've seen only a few and it's always been a big moment for me.
Well I finally bought one, a 2002 CL55 and it's just fantastic. No, it's not a blown CL or a V12 but it's my own silver rocket ship and I love it. It's just a dream come true. It's beautiful, classy, powerful, drives like silk and just 'fits' in so many ways. Walking up to that gorgeous machine in the morning or after work makes my heart skip a beat. I know I'm preaching to the choir here, but I had to share this with those who know. Awesome ride and I'm looking forward to tweaking a few things to 'make it mine'. What a car!

I feel the very same for my CL 55 AMG Kompressor. It "almost" perfect. Very fitting in so many ways. Hard to describe. Its a real head-turner car even in here germany - the motherland.
Its classy, it has a timeless design, especially viewed from the side (and even more with windows down), etc.
I enjoy driving it every day. I had many cars in the past, AMGs, 500Es, etc. - all great cars no doubt about it, however the CL is the first car i own which gives me also heartbeats just from looking at it.
Not to mention flooring it from a slow roll or standstill, or driving it highspeed over 300km/h with just one hand, drinking a can of coke with the other. Priceless!
