Cl55 AMG vs E55 AMG???
Hello everyone,
I am in need of some advice. I don't know a whole lot about cars and I am considering purchasing a CL55 AMG (2003-2005) or an E55 AMG (2003-2005). I understand that both these cars have the same engine and supercharger, but I am at odds about which to purchase. I am wondering what makes the CL55 AMG more luxurious and expensive than the E55 AMG. The E55 AMG has the dynamic seats w/pulse, but the CL55 AMG does not have the dynamic function but does have the pulse function. Can someone explain to me the major and minor differences (luxury and performance) between these two cars? My friend has a 2006 CLS55 AMG and I love how it performed and felt. As I understand it the CLS55 is more like the E55 in regards to the luxury options and the interior and the CL55 is more like the S55. Please correct me if I am wrong. Help please!

The ABC suspension is one of the main things and also adds a lot of 40K cost delta. CL has more composite body parts, more insulation, double layered glass windows to keep a quiter cabin. Also a lot of small inside luxury differences with the options.

CL is more of a luxury car and at the same time a big body coupe. If I was to buy a 55K motor car again it would be the the E55 just because it is a sedan. If I were you I would strongly consider buying the CL65 or even the CL600 with a AMG pkg. I love the W215 body but having a 65 or 600 is that much better.
