Cl63 Warranty-W216 owners please chime in w/experience
Was just quoted 5700 for a 3/36 fidelity extended warranty. I know of all the potential ABC problems. But with only 40k miles on the car should I worry about a warranty at this point? Would love to hear from all the w216 CL owners that have had experiance with out of factory warranty cars.
Thanks guys!

A lot of members like fidelity. I don't like the 12k a year provision.
I personally went with a 4yr 60k easycare. 5800. 500 deduct I figured just drive the car and when I sell in 3 years someone will have a year or so and a lot more miles if they need it than a 12 k a year policy.
Covers all ABC components and the gold care covers wheels and tires ( pot holes of course)
I WOULD NOT drive an AMG without a warranty as parts are astronomical. Why risk it when you can recover at least 2k more on resale with coverage.

I didn't know you could set it up any other way besides 2/24 or 3/36 . I'm assuming if I went with a 3/36 and my car currently has 40k miles would have warranty for the next 3 years or 76k miles?
Easy care is the factory warranty right?

Easycare is an aftermarket warranty not from Mercedes. My dad has an easy care warranty on his range rover and he's had no issues with any claims.

they're different companies but both offer similar coverage, if you go with their high end it is exclusionary so it covers almost all components like a normal factory warranty does. They have other cheaper levels but I wanted to make sure the ABC was covered so I went with maximum protection for mine.
