Approximately 8.5 quarts with the filter. Mobil 1 0W-40 is the recommended oil. Walmart normally has 5 quart jugs for around $22-24.00.

My 05, cl65 shows in the manual, with filter 9.5 to 11 qts, I don't know why the variation, possibly different versions or to allow for an possible oil cooler filling. I would advise to check your manual in the back under Technical Data. 0-40 mobil is ex choice.

Looks like your owners manual says 11 quarts.
