AC problem. Anyone know the solution?
The car was at a local car wash and I don't know what happened (I suspect someone at the carwash that was doing the interior work pressed something or sprayed something at the ac buttons), but now the AC Off button stays lit at all times and won't turn off no matter what. The manual has been misplaced and the service date at MB is in atleast three weeks, so I'm wondering if anyone here could help avoid such a long wait time. Here's the pic with an outline of the light that keeps staying lit on. Tried the reset button, etc, but still nothing. Maybe there's a special combination of buttons that's needed to be pressed to turn it back on?

Could be one of a few problems. It could be a push button assembly problem or a sensor such as the A/C Evap sensor. I had my A/C evap sensor go out and the light wouldn't go off either. Replacement of the A/C evap sensor fixed it.
